![]() They are an even stronger variant of the default version possessing more health and sometimes altering its attack pattern. On Veteran and above the enemies will swiftly transform into “golden types” when left alive for too long. ![]() With each increasing difficulty tier the enemies will gain enhanced speed, health, aggression, attack types and an overall spike in sheer quantity. If you are struggling with a specific level please visit their individual trophy walkthroughs below. To unlock this trophy you must clear all of the levels in Arcade mode on Veteran difficulty. The bosses themselves also have three phases each that trigger after taking enough damage.Īll of the difficulty trophies stack, so clearing the game on a higher difficulty will unlock the preceding trophies as well. The fourth and final portion is a unique boss that you must kill to finally clear the level, and unlock the next level as well. The first three phases within a level are comprised of an ever increasing number of regular enemies. I really recommend everyone try for the trophy where you beat a level with nothing but boost until you get to the boss. There are a total of five different levels in the game, each consisting of three separate “phases” and a boss. The one good thing I guess is that I got frustrated so went back and started trying to get some of the trophies which helped me gain some skills which then helped me get through the level. I can't remember the last time I got stuck on something this bad before. I hope this helps somebody not have to take 50 tries to get past this dude like it did me. If your too far from him at the end of the circle phase it can be hard to get there because he is already shooting so as soon as the circles stop you need to haul ass back towards the boss. The hardest part of this is actually getting underneath his head the first time. A couple of boosts like that and you're done. You have to actually hold it down for a little bit to get you over to the other side of his first hump. Don't tap-boost like I did the first time and end up in the middle of his body. When you're about to come out the tail side boost back until you're underneath him and keep shooting. Boost in under the boss's nose and keep shooting. This phase actually pisses me off because there doesn't seem to be any skill to it. ![]() Just move away and tap-boost while shooting back while moving up and down trying to stay away from the circles. This is where I use my overdrive and a bomb if I had ever managed to get here with a bomb. If you mess up and miss the gap you might have to boost to get yourself positioned again. The farther away you are on this part the harder it is in my opinion. The guy in the video I linked was actually too far away. It's actually pretty easy once you get up there to see it. You literally just have to keep shooting and move up and down to the top and bottom of the screen moving through this gap in the bullets every few seconds. When you get close there is a very obvious gap in the bullets that alternates up and down. (Dodging fireballs) Get up close to the "front" of the boss. Boost farther if you have to but for the most part try to just tap so it builds back up really fast. Tap the boost button when columns show up in front of you. Make sure you have an overdrive saved up.įirst phase just fly away and shoot back. The second time I died during the circle phase so didn't even get to the end phase. ![]() It took me three tries using this method but only because I was a spazz the first time and didn't hold down the boost long enough and boosted myself right into the middle of his body with my last life. ![]()
